In the conference,

parts of the world converged at this venue for three
days from June 7th to dwell upon the key issues and
development that would determine the future of the
industry and bring uses and benefits of Biotechnology
closer to every day life of human beings They debated
under the title "Accelerating Industry Growth Through
Integrated Innovation".

The Event and the
Multi Dimensional Conference had distinguished guests.
On a very special visit was Professor Sir David Lane,
who is one of the world's most important cancer research
scientists, following his discovery of a critical tumour
suppressor gene named p53. He is the second most highly
cited scientist in the UK over the last decade,
reflecting his extraordinary impact on cancer research
internationally. Presently, he is the Executive Director
of the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB),
Singapore and Director of the Cancer Research UK (CR-UK)
Transformation Research Group at the University of
Dundee, where he leads research teams studying human
tumour suppressor gene function.
During the three
days, eminent personalities shared their knowledge with
the participants on various pertinent issues such as
Frontier technologies & innovations in R&D, finance &
marketing - innovation and investment, scalable models
in life science informatics, partnering and
co-development in non-clinical and clinical drug
development and affordable diagnostics, industry
relevant human resources development, intellectual
property rights and regulatory issues, and food
